This is the best sunscreen I’ve found for oily skin. Sinks in with no shine and leaves a Matt finish. Does not sting my eyes either! 10/10!,,

Love this. So light, keeps my face matte and has this very subtle blurring effect meaning it acts a bit like a base. I like the recyclable aluminium too.
I’ll start by saying I am a skincare addict BUT up until now have tolerated SPF at best. Stingy eyes, breakouts, irritation, heavy feeling… urgh. But a necessary evil.
Then I tried Airyday and my mind was well and truly blown. This is not tolerable it is EXCEPTIONAL. An actual joy to use. It’s sophisticated in formula and behaves like skincare but protects like an excellent spf.
The only question for me now is which do I try next! I’m toying between pretty in zinc (mineral formulas are usually better for me) or clear as day which looks very much up my street too.
Anyway, in short - wear your SPF every day but don’t tolerate it, LOVE it. Buy Airyday.
Very luxurious and easy to apply gives a great coverage and protection
I like this very much for a bare skin day with just a little concealer. It stays matt but sort of glowy - a very nice skin finish. I don't like it under more make up as I find it then makes my skin tint sink into my pores and lines a little - perhaps its too drying for that. Would try more from this brand to find my ideal finish.

I loved the formula on my hand, however I had some issues when applying it after my skincare. I read there is a no return policy which was a worry. However I contacted the brand anyway and they were surprisingly helpful and gave me tips on application to make it workable for me. So 4 stars for the way my issues were handled.

I’ve been using dr Sam’s for years and thought I’d try something new

Airyday is excellent with my very "mature" skin. I've reordered a number of times.
Yes & no…….The ingredient list is excellent & very clean! I love the idea of the tinted sunscreen and I really rate the backstory & motivation for this brand! But for me personally, I can only wear this without make up. I have tried multiple combinations, order of application etc but my foundation just separates from this everytime. I like it with a bare face but I don’t find the tint to be a strong enough pigment so, while it’s a lovely sunscreen, it doesn’t give you any kind of blurring or even skin tone, it certainly won’t give you a “no make-up” look, so unless you’re 20 with perfect skin, maybe don’t use the models on the website as a barometer. But, given sunscreen needs applying every 2 hours anyway, it’s probably best to not have any make up on. I’ll definitely buy another product when this runs out! I’m just not sure the mousse is for me

We’re sorry to hear you haven’t been able to get it working comfortably underneath your foundation, especially after trying a few different combinations and application methods. Skincare and makeup layering can be so individual, and sometimes certain formulas simply don’t play nicely together. One little tip we’d love you to try, if you haven’t already, is allowing Mineral Mousse to fully dry down and settle into its velvet-matte finish before applying your foundation, as this can make a big difference to how your makeup layers over the top.
Mineral Mousse is designed to help minimise the appearance of a traditional mineral sunscreen white cast and give the skin a soft, velvety finish, rather than provide the pigment or coverage of a skin tint or foundation. We completely understand that if you’re looking for more coverage, it may not quite deliver the finish you're after.

Although it initially feels a little greasy when applied, it dries to a lovely finish for my very oily skin, and doesn't make me shiny during the day. It's stood up very well to a week in the bright Cornish sunshine!
When I first got this product I wasn't sure because it feels very wet when you first apply it. But persevere and you'll be rewarded with one of the best sunscreens I have ever used. I have oily skin and I do mean OILY. This product feels like water, but dries down to the most perfect primer I've ever found. No clogging or irritation whatsoever. You can wear it alone and won't feel dehydrated (like some matte products) or like an oil slick, and my cc cream does not pill on top, even when I'm in my usual morning rush.
I think this might become a true grail for me.

This is quite literally the best sunscreen I have EVER used and will only ever use from now on. Every one I have ever tried, and I’m 43 so that’s a lot, have been unpleasant sticky left a cast greasy make me feel weird and always stung my eyes. Not this one. Looks amazing. Feels amazing. No cast at all and doesn’t hurt my eyes. Oh and sits beautifully under any makeup. A miracle product for me. Big thanks for creating it!

I have highly sensitive skin with rosacea, any chemical sunscreen causes my skin to flush red/hot and any fragrances cause eczema and allergy. This sunscreen has been really really good, no allergies and no flushing! My skin is quite pale and the tint isn’t the perfect match for my colourings but it blends in well and as long as I blend down to my neck it looks fine. It is a slightly oily mousse at the start but quickly dries down to a matte barely there finish. I haven’t tried layering with make up but it layers well with NIOD’s spf 30 which I use to top up during the day. Comparing this to the Pretty in Zinc Airday sunscreen, this is much more pale skin friendly.
Find the product a bit oily, it does go on nicely and doesn’t affect my sensitive skin. I find it doesn’t seem to sit well under my foundation but it’s ok on its own but does settle into fine lines.

Mineral Mousse SPF50+ is formulated with zinc oxide and nourishing skincare ingredients to help maintain hydration and support the skin barrier. While many customers love wearing it under makeup, we appreciate that foundations can vary greatly in formulation and may not always pair perfectly with every SPF.
If you're finding it settles into fine lines, you may like to try applying a slightly smaller amount per layer and allowing a few minutes for it to fully settle before makeup application. Some customers also find that a light dusting of powder helps create a smoother finish.
